Plan MCCQE and SMLE preparation with MindxBridge’s free webinar, practical study steps and official exam resources. Build a focused, manageable revision plan.
This companion guide brings together the recording of Master the MCCQE & SMLE, presented by Dr. Salem Alajmi and Dr. Atif Sindi, and a practical checklist for using study resources. It is a starting point for organising your preparation, rather than an official examination guide.
Start with the exam you are taking
Keep separate plans for the Canadian MCCQE and the Saudi Medical Licensure Examination. Use the relevant examination body's current guidance to confirm the topics, format and application requirements that apply to you. A resource that is helpful for one exam is not automatically a complete plan for the other.
- MCCQE: start with the Medical Council of Canada's examination objectives and preparation resources.
- SMLE: review the SCFHS blueprint and current professional licensure examination information.
- Your timetable: identify the preparation time available to you, then choose a small set of legitimate resources you can use consistently.
A practical study-planning checklist
- Map your topics. Compare your current strengths and gaps with the official objectives or blueprint.
- Choose resources with a purpose. Separate knowledge building, authorised practice questions and revision notes instead of collecting material without a plan.
- Review your mistakes. Record the topic and reasoning behind an incorrect answer so your next revision session addresses a specific gap.
- Practise under timed conditions. Use appropriate practice material to rehearse pacing and concentration.
- Revisit the plan. Make space for revision and rest, and adjust your priorities as you identify recurring difficulties.
Watch the session and use the resources
Watch the free MindxBridge exam-preparation webinar. Dr. Salem Alajmi's MindxBridge MCCQE slides discuss organising knowledge building, Canadian preparation resources, ethics learning and practice sessions. Use the recording and slides as a companion to current official guidance.
